• We support the North Country Union High School golf teams (boys and girls) who hold their golf practice and their tournaments at Newport Country Club.
• We provide scholarship money to qualified high school graduates to assist with their college tuition.
• We hold a Golf Camp the last week of June for junior golfers ages 6-16.

Dates for the 2008 Golf Camp are Monday June 23 through Friday June 27. It includes golf instruction every morning, a golf shirt for each golfer, and snacks every day. Golf clubs are available on loan. On Friday golfers will compete in the Tim Mulkin Memorial Golf Tournament which will be followed by a barbeque awards lunch for the junior golfers and their families. Golf Camp is FREE; however, donations are always appreciated. The camp fills up quickly so early registration is recommended.

The Junior Program is made possible by the support of our area businesses, by the generosity of members and friends of Newport Country Club and by the Junior Golf Fundraiser Tournament which is scheduled for Saturday, June 28. Golfers of all ages will compete in a fun scramble to raise money for the Junior Program. The tournament will be followed by a cookout and auction. We look forward to seeing you there!
