Couples League
is officially over, but the enthusiasm continues. As long as the interest is
there and the weather holds we'll keep playing!!
Tom and I would
like to thank everyone for the wonderful gift to Lago's. We enjoy organizing the
League, meeting and playing with you all. We hope you all had fun too!!

Call the Pro Shop by 2 p.m. each Wednesday
to register for play that day. A blind draw will be done
for playing partners. A sheet with an explanation of
points, handicaps, etc. will be posted on the downstairs
bulletin board. A fee of $2.00/person is to be paid at the
Pro Shop before playing.

Dinner: All players are
encouraged to come in after playing. The restaurant is
offering us interesting buffets each week for $9.00. Meals
from the menu are also available. Winners and prizes will be
awarded during dinner.

Bad Weather: We'll make a
decision whether to play or not by 4 p.m. Please call
the Pro Shop. We encourage you to come for dinner at
the club even if we don't play that night.

Membership Requirement: 1 person
on each team must be a member of Newport Country Club.

Start Time: 5:15 pm until August
18th. After Aug. 18, 5 pm (because
it's darker earlier).
