The Newport Country Club has
agreed to reciprocal benefits with
Orleans Country Club, St Johnsbury Country Club, Country Club of
Barre, Enosburg Falls, Jay Peak, Colebrook Country Club, Bethlehem Country Club,
The Maplewood Golf Club, Champlain Country Club Richford
Country Club and Dufferin Heights for each others' members. Other agreements will be pursued as
well and will be announced on the website and by email
broadcast. For $30, our members will be able to golf 18 holes
with a cart. For Jay Peak, the package price will be $50 for 18
holes with a cart. There are certain procedures our members must
adhere to in order to receive this benefit:
1. Tee times must be reserved at the course to be visited, which
are subject to availability.
NOTE: For Dufferin
Heights, tee times must be after 1pm, and are best reserved
a day in advance. If the reservation is made through our
Pro Shop, you will not need to show an NCC membership card
(otherwise, an NCC membership card is needed).
2. Reservations must be made through the Newport Country Club
golf pro or his designate.
3. Advance tee times are based on the reciprocal clubs policies
and procedures.
4. Non-members may golf with members, but will not receive the
discounted rate.
5. We will be providing membership cards which may be asked for
at the time of check-in.
It is hoped that by making this benefit available, our course
will be used by other clubs' membership during club event times
at home clubs. And this is an added benefit to members of
Newport Country Club.
IROC (Indoor Recreation Orleans County) in Derby has set up
a net so that people may practice their golf during the off
season. We have participated in buying the net (through our
Junior program funds) so Club members will have special
rates.... $99 for a membership and $3.50 for one half hour.
